Commitment. That word sums up Pat Buck’s rich lifetime of service to her family, community and her industry.
A graduate of the National Cathedral School and Vassar College, Pat has traveled the world as the daughter of an Army officer and the wife of a West Point graduate and is the proud mother of three boys – one of whom is also a West Point grad. Pat learned the tradition of service before self at a young age and has applied that level of commitment and dedication to everything she has done.
Throughout Pat’s career in the real estate business – which now spans over 40 years - she has been consistently recognized as an outstanding professional and exemplary individual. She is resolute on behalf of her clients and profession. She has done it all in the real estate industry, a tireless volunteer who has served on the Boards of Directors of both the Northern Virginia and Virginia Associations of REALTORs® as well as too many committees and task forces to count. She has been the Virginia President of the Certified Residential Specialists, and has been recognized by her peers in Northern Virginia as their Sales Associate of the Year. Committed to lifetime learning, she has earned almost every professional designation under the sun.
But it is her loyal clients who keep Pat energized and engaged. She is proud to be serving the second generation of some of her clients as well as those they continue to refer to her, and that is the best testament to her success. She has a particular sensitivity to the needs of the military community, having moved 27 times as both the child and spouse of a man in uniform, and has kept the home fires burning with young children and a husband in combat overseas. Recognizing her commitment, Pat’s husband Champ partnered with her in real estate after his distinguished career in the United States Army until he passed away in 2011. Pat remains as dedicated to her clients today as she was the day she first got her real estate license. One of her clients put it this way: “There is a difference, and the difference is Pat Buck.” We couldn’t agree more. She is there for you when it counts.
In her spare time, Pat enjoys cross country skiing, water skiing, cooking and entertaining. She is author of the cookbook, “Please Don’t Paint the Peas,” and a lifetime volunteer with the Red Cross, Anglican and Episcopal Churches, Boy Scouts, American Association of University Women, and other military, political and civic organizations. She Currently serves on the West Point Class of '57 Committee.
