Lucy has been a resident of the District for more than 30 years, and licensed in DC, MD and VA, she truly knows the city, its neighborhoods and surrounding areas. With an MBA and a background in commercial real estate, she also brings a highly professional approach to her work, in addition to being a top-notch negotiator.
Lucy caught the real estate bug early in life, helping her parents and sisters renovate historic townhomes during summers in Richmond, Virginia. Growing up in a “can do” family also meant hands on involvement with family landscaping projects, building of home additions, and every type of interior home improvement project imaginable.
Providing premium service at every price point, Lucy works with both buyers and sellers to ensure the highest level of satisfaction. She helps buyers to understand the market, to determine what they can afford, and to decide what type of home they really want and need – to find the one that says “Be Mine”.
Lucy also loves working with sellers and gives strong and effective guidance on price point, a “to do” list for prepping the home, and how to best present the home to attract as many buyers as possible. By working with both buyers and sellers regularly, she offers a valuable perspective for understanding both sides of a home sale, and dozens of happy buyers and sellers would agree.
When Lucy isn’t selling homes, she volunteers at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, where she is Junior Warden, and she enjoys gardening, baking and tinkering with model trains. Lucy lives in Cathedral Heights with her husband, Ted, their beagle, Ella, and Chessie, the cat.
