My philosophy of “nothing ventured, nothing gained” reflects my confidence and proactive approach to finding you a new home you are looking for.  It also shows I understand the major decision buying or selling entails and the rewards that come with it.  I am dedicated to providing quality a Real Estate experience with a customized personal and analytical marketing plan that is tailored to each of my clients.  I will listen and work to keep you informed through the process with a schedule and method that you decide.

My 35 year background in retail sales and management enables me to quickly identify what my clients are seeking in a new home.  For clients selling their home, I am an award-winning Merchandiser, my skills will assist in prepping and staging their home for the sale as well as re-arrangements of their own furniture.

Previously, I worked for three of the Washington DC metro area’s most prestigious children’s boutiques and most recently managed the Museum Shop at Gunston Hall Plantation, a National Historic landmark.

As a homeowner in the Washington D.C.. area for over 40 years, I am highly attuned to the value of real estate as an emotional and financial investment.  The uniqueness of the DC/NOVA market can be daunting and exciting!  I live with my husband, Bob, an Alexandria native and fellow real estate agent. We have on wonderful daughter, Chelsea.  I read, write and speak conversational German and I am a member of NSDAR, a historical and genealogical based society that strives to preserve history, promote education and patriotism.
