Joan grew up working in her family’s construction business in Kansas and developed the strong work ethic and drive that benefits her clients today in every transaction she is involved in. Joan moved to the Washington, D.C. area just after college and has made the area home for the past thirty plus years, having lived and worked all over the metro area. Joan’s clients include all categories, from first-time buyers and sellers to those who’ve been through the real estate process several times. With every client, Joan is able to develop a keen sense of her client’s needs and uses her strong negotiating skills to achieve their goals. Joan has been a member of the NVAR since 2001 and has achieved the Board’s Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club and Top Producers Club consistently since becoming a Realtor. Joan’s personal volume exceeds $10 million, annually.
Joan resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her three sons. Joan is an active supporter of her sons’ schools in D.C., Maryland and Virginia and in her church community in Old Town Alexandria. Joan is an advocate for the cognitively disabled, including the National Autism Association and St. Coletta’s School of Greater Washington.
