About me

Home is very important to Barbara, who thoroughly enjoys taking part in establishing her clients’ dream homes. She loves listening to people’s needs, helping them make the best possible decisions, and negotiating successful deals on their behalf. Her glowing reviews and heartfelt thanks from happy clients mean the world to her.

This passion has enabled Barbara to excel in real estate ever since becoming licensed in Virginia in 1987. She is also an Associate Broker since 1991, who also holds her Associate Broker license in Maryland and once did in DC. In her tenure in residential sales, Barbara has received numerous certifications and awards, including membership in the NVAR Multi-Million-Dollar Sales Club, and the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation.

“I treat my clients’ transactions as my own and strive to build lasting relationships based on trust. Whether buying, selling or investing, my responsibility is to educate others by providing the best available market information, giving an honest, knowledgeable assessment of their choice of property, and guiding them all the way through the transaction.”

Originally from Hungary where she attended college, Barbara went on to graduate school in Germany. Besides English, she speaks Hungarian and German fluently. Barbara lived in McLean, Virginia for 40 years before recently downsizing and moving to Oakton. As a homeowner who has also bought and sold investment properties, she has a unique insider knowledge of the area and the different neighborhoods.

In her free time, Barbara loves to read, travel, practice yoga, and spend time with her two children and six grandchildren.
